Vision
We always wanted a "beach house" so in 2020 we jumped at the chance to purchase our little gem we call the Lazy Pelican Beach House. Fast forward 2 years, Beach Bird Properties was a vision of the late Phyllis C Alger (Nana) . She was able to see Pelican Landing almost finished but never host anyone. Surfin' Seagull, as we named it, was a vacant lot on the lake that Nana just fell in love with. We jumped tremendous hurdles to see that home finally finished in 2023. We have taken her dream and ran with it ! We love hosting and are super excited that we can help your family make life-long vacation memories !

The Lazy Pelican, Pelican Landing, and The Surfin’ Seagull are all beautifully maintained 3-bedroom, 2-bath beach homes located inside the gated community of Oceanside Village in Surfside Beach.
Each home is just a short stroll or golf cart ride to the beach, making it easy to enjoy sun-filled days along the shore. For your convenience and added fun, every property includes complimentary use of a golf cart—perfect for cruising to the beach, pools, playground, or around the community.
